Aromatherapy is a therapeutic treatment that uses natural plant extracts (essential oils) to promote health
and well-being. Sometimes it’s called Essential Oil Therapy.
Depending on the volatile compounds contained in the essential oil, it may show different properties.
Essential oils are introduced through the respiratory tract (inhalations, smelling, inhalation) and through
the skin (massages, baths, compresses or cosmetic preparations).
The oils can be used individually (always diluted) as well
as in blends. In addition to oils, aromatherapy also uses herbs, incense, hydrosols, cosmetic oils and other
natural aromatic substances.

Our Treatments
Our aromatherapy massage treatments are performed with high quality carrier oils combined with a therapeutic blend of pure essential oils. Massage can be local or general, depending on the requirements and what purpose is to be achieved. We can also create your own blend that contains a palette of four to five different scents for you to take home with you. This extra service will help meet your specific needs; whether it’s to relax, rejuvenate or replenish your mind, body and spirit.

What can you expect from your first AROMATHERAPY visit?
At the beginning of your first session you will be required to fill out a confidential health history form, which will help your therapist in creating your assessment and treatment plan. The therapist will then explain the massage process and answer any questions you may have about your condition or tension. Remember that your first visit will include the assessment in your treatment time. The therapist will ask you about any known allergies, and then have you smell the oil before using it to see if you have any adverse reaction to the scent. One major contraindication of aromatherapy is pregnancy, as there is little research on the effect of oils on pregnant women.
